The greatest feature is the ease of access to support customers remotely. There was prerequisites to integrate with our existing platform, it was seemless.

Wady:

It's slow and clunky, often having trouble launching. Their new Web Monitoring product which replaced Monitis is half-baked and missing features, we are unable to use it.

An easy to set up and use for remote support of computers. For both a quick support session or accessing an unattended computer.

Wady:

Monitoring of the usage is so strict that on occasion it triggers a false negative report of overuse. I'm getting quite often notifications that I need to register the product or to buy a license even though I'm already logged in under my account or the fact that I have a Premium license

TeamViewer is my pick for corporate use case

Komentarze: I have been using TeamViewer for more than 10 years and it is a very trust worthy piece of software. It has been around when there are no modern software tools for screen sharing like Zoom, Google meet, Skype and also remote control software like AnyDesk. While the most modern software's are light weight and easy to use, when the stakes are high and security is top priority, TeamViewer is a go to software.

Zalety:

TeamViewer's security is top class! It has both mobile and desktop applications for accessibility. The best part is that it is free to try for non-commercial use. It has been around for many years and in a corporate environment, it is a trusted and a go to software tool.

Wady:

Security is also the best part and also the worse part. In an attempt to make it secure, there are a lot of gatekeepers or road blockers. Respecting the firewalls, security policies etc. It is great for the corporate environment with high stakes but other software would do a great job for a simple use case. Also TeamViewer has trouble with low bandwidth connections.

This system is really easy to use and i have a really friendly interface & Installation and setup also simple and quick . Anyone can easily get and work on this . Mostly I'm really impressive about the system security because it use Two-Factor Authentication and specifically with encryption. This can be Use in any platform and performance is also really good and its high speed connection. In here we can fully control the device and at same time we can transfer the files easy. This is good for both business and personal use and its free for personal use with some operating systems and also its with reliable purchase plans.

Wady:

Mostly its high cost for the business plans such as beginner business. Main issue is hackers can easily attack the user system with this . Teamviewer is really depending on the internet, some times it will be a issue with the low internet access peoples, it need higher performance and it will slowdown the low end Computers.

Komentarze: Same as my Pro's and Cons.
I wouldnt stop using Team viewer, i prefer it over other remote support softwares for its ease of use and professional/secure features.

Zalety:

Ease of use and setup time. I like the option to have unattended access setup on frequent remote servers that i need to access from my Laptop. Since i tend to move around to different locations for work. Remote access is critical for me

Wady:

I wouldnt really say its a deal breaker, but at first, the installation was a bit lack luster in what options to pick (unattended/restricted access). I had to reinstall the product a few times to get the correct version i wanted but apart from that, its all good. I have come across the black screen bug but i believe that may be a Server issue. But if its a known server issue, i think Teamviewer should add this on their FAQ.

Teamviewer makes your WFH transition considerably easier

Komentarze: Coming from using SCCM and the built-in Microsoft remote tools, Teamviewer has improved our workflow considerably, allowing our technicians to complete work on external devices as seemlessly as if they were at the physical controls.

Zalety:

Teamviewer has enabled us to safely remotely access our fleet of machines and allow elevated actions only by our technicians. This has been a real help during the switchover to working from home.

Wady:

The initial setup in the admin center can be a little confusing, but works well once completed.

Komentarze: Have been a long-time user in and out of my line of work. Being a Client Care Representative, this product is crucial to support the less tech-savvy clients.

Zalety:

being able to offer remote support for remote clients. However at this point in time, I am amazed that no direct links to offer the client that you want to help instead of making them download the software have been implemented. I'm guessing the initial idea behind TeamViewer was just remote accessibility, but for those who are not tech-literate, it defeats the purpose.

Wady:

recent updates have capped the functions to a specific amount of time or sessions per free account.

Team Viewer Changes make use impossible

Komentarze: We had to reinstall TV on all computers after this update, puttimg a serious crimp in our work. Team viewer locks you into one year deals, then does not refund after 28 days. It took us significantly longer than that to even get half of our computers back into our network. Team Viewer's customer service people are very nice, if you can get them on the phone. They have no mechanism for helping paying customers with emergencies, you are told to leave a message and they will call you back. Overall terrible experience recently with Team Viewer. I recommend anyone thinking of using this app go with anyone else at all. Your local internet scammer is a better choice.

I used to like ease of access. That is now gone.

Their update made the app impossible to use.

Ever since I got started with TeamViewer Remote,I find it very simple to access and control remote devices securely, anytime.It can easily monitor and manage remote work with TeamViewer Remote.I can transfer files quickly and securely using TeamViewer Remote.

Wady:

It helps on easy to use interface with a powerful remote features. Its fast and easy to navigate through the interface with a quick support to desktop, which is amazing.

One of the best remote viewing and troubleshooting programs.

Komentarze: Overall i have used this program for years and will do so until something changes. Over the years they have tried more and more to get money out of you trying to sell you on other features. I still only use the free version of it and i'm happy with that.

Zalety:

I like that it is easy to direct someone to the website and they can download it with little problem. It is a simple install and from there its quick to fix the problem.

Wady:

I don't like that the install has this step asking if they want commercial or personal or neither. Just remove that and eliminate the confusion.

Teamviewer, my remote access software of choice

Komentarze: My experience with TeamViewer has been all positive. From what I recall it has never failed me - even in situations where other remote software hasn't worked well.

Zalety:

Works reliably. I use this software regularly. When working with other companies, they have required that I use other software - I've found none of the alternatives work as reliably as TeamViewer. When it comes to remote access software, my first choice will always be TeamViewer.

Wady:

It would be even better if the yearly subscription price was a little lower.
