Komentarze: Overall A+ there is nothing as good as it out on the market at the moment and I have looked at them all. If a company wants to take their booking seriously they should use the Trekksoft backbone and customise it to suit their needs.
Zalety:
It is a turnkey system with a full back end support staff. The management of the booking process is designed for ease of use and the best user experience.
Wady:
Because it is a new more people need to use the software in order to grow the network, this happening as more and more companies trust the system.

Komentarze: Our experience has been great from the start. The marketing agent did a great job explaining the features, answering all our questions and consulting technical support when deemed necessary. She took her time explaining everything we needed to know via videocalls.We chose to set up everything ourselves and I do recommend this if you have the time for it (as we do in low season), because this is the best way to understand how the systems works and will make it easier in the future to make small or last minute changes. Their support line is also really great in helping you with all your questions. Live chat is quickly available, albeit during limited hours, but any email is rapidly answered as well and their answers were always useful and to the point.Once everything was set up, we never had to contact the support line again. Everything runs smoothly as it should be!
Zalety:
- Clear pricing and commission based costs. One time setup fee, but no monthly charge, very important for a seasonal business as ours.- We set all our products and rates up ourselves, but could have given the information to the support team and they would have get us started, per their suggestion. Interesting if you do not have much time to get acquainted with the in and outs of the system.- Excellent booking app for sales agents, easy to make changes in capacities if needed.- Access to a clear guest manifest through the app at any time.- Very ease to reschedule or cancel a booking in the app.- Several integration options for your website.- Rendered clear and simple to the online customers

Adding a date for an activity cannot be done in the app, as far as I know, and I will just login via my browser.. I have not yet contacted support about this, because it is not a regular necessity for us and I can add it quickly via the browser.

Komentarze: Be warned about this company - they are good at marketing and promising everything about their product but they fall far from delivering on their promises and can seriously damage your business.

The pre sales people will do everything they can and promise you everything to get you on board - but after that you will not received the same level of response again. - The actual technical setup of the site causes lots of SEO issues and google to penalize you giving you no chance of doing well in rankings. You are very limited on what you can do to make changes to help this. Our sales dropped 60% when we switched. - The tech support is just a system to fob you off with next to no support at all. They have a "helpdesk system" chat type interface right in the admin , you ask a question and it will take min hours but more likely a day or so for someone to reply but that reply will usually not be an answer but just "we will pass this onto the support team" . So basically can take days to just have you request passed to support. From there your lucky if you get a response in less than a week , often taking many weeks for a reply. -The checkout cart is extremely bad and has extremely high abandonment rates. Also the fact that you can only book one product at a time loses lots of sales or puts people off from booking at all - The payment processing fees are very high, and that is on top of an already expensive fee you pay for the system, charges for refunds, placing bookings (even for offline bookings there are fees!). - The checkout cart currency conversion system is a ripoff that just annoys your customers and results in lots of complaints about you over charging them. Basically , by default it is set to have Trekksoft handle the conversion and they rates in their favor to make more money - it is possible for the customer to choose to have their bank do the conversion but this is not obvious and no one does, so they only find out when there are excessive charges in their bank account. So make it worse a problem we experience on several occasions (and i reproduced this , reported it and was told it wasnt a problem / brushed aside)) is a double conversion - example using a credit card in USD to pay for the products priced in USD on our site the customer have teh payment converted to a non usd currency (incurring charges by trekksfoft) then it was presented to the USD credit in the non USD currency , therefore incurring conversion charges again. Basically for USD priced items with a USD credit card was doublely charged for currency conversions! - some tours that showed as being authorized had problems in the trekksoft gateway back end resulting in us not being paid. When we queried these we were given random excuses trying to fob us off and avoid paying (never resolved). The issues go from top to bottom - CEOs and senior management have been included in email complaints about them not responding (several emails over a month period) to my request for answers regarding the many thousands of USD they owe us but we get no response. Last email informed them of impending legal action and it receive a swift apology and a promise it would be investigate by a support manage , with a follow up response the following day. That what several days ago and nothing so I have no choice but to take legal action against the company now.
Great tool for tour companies!

TrekkSoft is very easy to use and it's features are crucial for our business. We have used it for the last 2+ years and no problems whatsoever. Implementation of the products is easy and the staff is very helpful in the process. It had made our business run smoothly especially in the process of handling the reservations manually. 5 out of 5 stars!

Komentarze: We have spent a lot of time to reach an acceptable booking process for our eeds. It would we muc etter to ave a differet possibility to make the booking engine more flexible we you what to make a product that can mix different products to reach a very rela dynamic packaging , but we uderstand that to make and change an architectural structure of a service is not that easy. A parallel software like tose one to build chat bot would be nice to have, while we wait, we develope our one with this one.

The possiility to mix, during the buying process, different product/services to get a final result ( booked product ) close to a " dinamic packaging " .

unfortuately the company do not sell specific booking for ( do not uderstand the potentiality ? or lack of knowledge of the niche markets possiility ? specific market ( diving / bike rental / sailing / motorbike rental etc ) this forced us to work hard to modifiy the bookin process till we got a close booking process for the market we focusing on . Is quite clear that there is a tremedous market for specific booking engine. In te meantime we consider this one, the best one to be used for your specific market that is ot focusing on a single product but a mix of those you sell and have a final one made by several of them.

excellent experience overall, I had a website with all the necessary information to make a reservation, but I didn't have a calendar for availability, neither the option of adding promo codes and how to gather all the information that I needed to make a reservation with no leaking information.
It actually made my website eligible to make a fast and easy reservation on internet.

adding the information of my tours was easy, even that there are a lot of details to cover, it is easy and the steps to follow to fill all the information was easy to follow and understand. Me, as a tour guide, I had all the possible options that I needed to add to my tours and excursion and also add some other options that the program had that I didn't have an idea that I could use, so it was great. once I had had all the information added to the program, I made some test reservations and it was really easy to use and could ask all the information that I needed to make a reservation.
Wady:
The only feature that I had some problems with was the tickets, it was a little confused for me being English not my first language, to understand something's about it. it took me a while and a few emails from your team support to finally made the way I wanted. I was confused about the user name, client name, tour information, so when I was adding the text to the voucher, I could not get the information that I wanted, but at the end, I did it with your support.

My intuition is that it's the right tool for where I want to take my business, which is a resaller of a lot of tours and tickets, tours that will be run by my company and tours & services run by others. I would like to become a plateform that international tourists may use to buy everything they need in France (except hotels). But it will also be my reservation and payment gateway for my newly launched garanteed departures. These are capabilities I did not have before.
Wady:
Like any software, there is nothing I don't like. It takes a good amount of time to get around, but there is so many possibilities and features that I find it "normal" to struggle at first. One thing that could be improved is that, every time a user does something, it opens up a new tab on the browser. At the end, I always end up with too many open tabs. Not a big deal, since closing them takes only a sec (evetything is automatically saved).

In Italia il software non funziona come potrebbe funzionare
Komentarze: Buona sera io ho acquistato il software ma lo sconsiglio vivamente sarà anche un buon software ma l'assistenza in Italia non funziona. Dopo aver avuto pressioni per acquistarlo sono scomparsi nel nulla . DOPO UN mese che ho acquistato il software ad oggi non riesco a farlo funzionare. Sarà anche un buon software ma l'assistenza in Italia è scarsa anzi inesistente . Avevo acquistato il software con tanta carica ora provo solo delusione , dopo un mese siamo ancora al punto 0 . Unica nota positiva mi hanno presentato Destination Italia dopo averlo ricordato piu volte . Loro sono veramente il top subito si sono messi a disposizione e subito hanno agganciato la piattaforma . Un plauso a Destination Italia , magari quelli di trekksoft italia prendevano esempio da loro come si trattano e si lavora con i clienti .

un software che se fa il lavoro suo dovrebbe avvantaggiare chi è iscritto a multi portali ota . Poca perdita di tempo controllo in tempo reale .

Un assistenza scarsa in italia . Il software permette perchè comunque è fatto molto bene . Il problema che se non si trova qualcuno che te lo spiega bene e quindi gli fa uscire tutte le sue potenzialità anche il software diventa scarso . Io sconsiglio questo software perchè in itlaia l'assistenza è veramente carente anzi nulla zero .

Easy and fast experience for clients on the front end with great visual appeal and seamless integration with my own website. The booking process for clients is really easy for the most part and I also like that TS provides a free website on their own so that I keep both my own website up on our client computer in our sales office, but also another tab open with the TS site showing our tours and rentals as well. The TS site focuses on showing the tours in a boxed setting so it is super easy to find the one you are interested in on just one page. The two sites working together make is really easy for clients to find what they are looking for. I also looked at at least a dozen other platforms before choosing TS, and one of the biggest problems I found with other sites was that they didn't allow for Add-Ons at all, or if they did, they didn't allow for them to be showcased with photographs and full description. TS beats everyone out when it comes to best possible showcasing of any item you have for sale. TS also allows you to include those Add-Ons easily and simply during the booking process, which makes our up sale of all our Add-Ons a sure thing for almost every booking.
Wady:
I would like to see a few more back end features for the tour operator personally. Such as having the print out of the booking contain all the items purchased by the clients for easy record keeping, such as the Add-Ons. Our company uses Add-Ons heavily so our clients have a more immersive touring experience. We offer 3 different kinds of picnics, hotels on some tours and even entrance fees for some of the tours, though these items never show up on the email that is sent to us to show the booking has been completed. It doesn't list the Add-Ons so we must therefore go back into the system as an extra step, click on the details button and then scroll through the list to see what other items may have been included. Though not a deal breaker by any means, it is inconvenient and time consuming. I would like to see in the future live people available to answer questions on the fly, rather than having to wait one or two days for them to get back to you after you've left a message on the chat line. If I have a question, it is usually involving a sale in that very minute so having to wait several days to even have someone acknowledge the question is frustrating as that means I must put my own clients on hold until TS gets back to me. A live chat person, at least during normal business hours in my country, would be a wonderful improvement.

From little to BIG
Komentarze: Well, as luck would have it, I actually used Capterra as a tool to research software solutions for reservations management. I found it extremely helpful, so I'm adding my two cents to support Capterra in helping users like you and I to make informed decisions. Enough about Capterra... let's talk TrekkSoft. The elevator pitch version goes something like this: TrekkSoft supports a wide range of company sizes from little to Big. The major attractions of TrekkSoft are a) It's ability to connect you to marketplaces; b) CSS/HTML control in select areas of the software; c) Interdepartmental connections between guest/inventory management, accounting, tour operations, and marketing; d) Online booking feature allows you to earn passive income while you focus on improving business. The longer version of my review includes a few more gory details pertaining to functionality, company culture, software potential, and business potential. Our first few months with TrekkSoft were rocky. No sugar coating here! The sales team over-promised on a few items, which was disappointing. Ask as many questions as you can and get things in writing - as you should with any company you are interviewing! The flip side of this coin is that they have worked with us on various functionality and features to resolve our issues.... some at a cost, and others not. Either way, their team has the rare trait of listening to feedback and implementing changes when possible. It has been an intense few months of getting set up and we are still working out some bugs. That being said, we are a larger, more established company than some of the smaller tour operators that might get set up in the average 14 days that they prescribe. Some changes were critical to our business process and others were user improvements that have shown me the potential for how TrekkSoft can truly connect multiple departments in our company to one hub. Not only to cut down on procedures that are disconnected, laborious, and manual, but to vastly improve collaboration. We are taking baby steps in this area, but the vision is tangible and attainable. Lastly, the online booking feature, as well as marketplace channel manager, is a reservoir of business growth that is waiting for us to tap into more. Again... baby steps. After all the plusses and minuses, I can say that we are in a better place than before we had TrekkSoft. We are growing and I believe things are only going to get better.

The system can be slow at times. The reports are not as strong as I need them to be. These are concerns they are addressing with me.

Zalety:
I like that I can collect all the information about booking in one place. The good feature is link generator for payments - it's really nice because I don't have to be a super programmer to create a link, which will pass the booking process further. It gives a possibility to create funny/fancy/interesting buttons on web pages - that's a part of creative marketing.
Wady:
It's not so intuitive and It should have more customization's options (f.e. we don't sell ''seats'' - it's only the name you'll think, but for our beginning workers it's a lil' bit confusing). IMHO the interface should be more windowed and making orders should be as easy as moving blocks on a schedule (example: our customer decides to order a limo tour and then he want to go to the restaurant - so we take ''limo tour'' block and move it on calendar, adding to it details about a price, customers information and stretching it for hours, it will last; below we set ''restaurant'' block. After this we can share this schedule with our partners and customers, so they'll know, what time services will start and where it'll happen). Another problem is that in our country this platform is used only by small group of companies. What if 70% of our partners would use TrekkSoft? All our planning processes and payments will be done on your platform, so doing reservations would be really easy for us and you will have an opportunity to do surveys about customer's preferences and have a lot of control (I can help you with developing your project, because I have an Idea, how you can improve Trekk - if you're interested give me a sing :) )

Using Trekksoft as a website and booking solution

We are an activity company in Hungary and Slovenia. We use Trekksoft since June 2015 and in overall I am very satesfied with it.
First we have used it only for accepting creditcard payments at our reception desk. It is very simple either you use your computer or your smartphone with card reader.
In 2016 I had to change our old website to a new one and I wanted to add more features to the site. As Trekksoft gives everything what I need (even more) it was logical to build a website with using their system. You don't need to be an expert in programing or super smart. It is very very easy. Even if you stuck or you would need some help the support team is allways there for you. (For example hungarian language was not available, but I needed it. We managed it pretty quick, so for now hungarian is an option too.)
We had our own developed booking and administration system which is pretty good, but I must say Trekksoft knows much more, so we decided to use the booking system from the upcomming season in 2017. It it very simple and many things are automatized, like vouchers, pre and after trip infos and many more. The system can connect you to Online Travel Agents what can be a hugh help in sale.
About Money. There are different subcription plans... It is not cheap, but when you think about how much would you pay for your own developed booking system and a website and marketing and so on... Believe me it's worth the money.
Trekksoft is not only about their system. They support you with many advises, like webdesign or online marketing ideas, how to use social medias, checklists how to prepare yourself for the next season and so on.
I think with Trekksoft and their super team everything you picture is possible.

These days I am sure with using Trekksoft you get an advantage in a hard competition of tourist market.

Automated and functional!
Komentarze: Great personal attention when I first started to walk through the whole system - a very patient lady stood by me and talked me through in baby steps - I had to do a lot of the work myself and familiarizing myself with the software but now finding it much easier and so worth it.
Zalety:
I no longer have to write emails after someone enquires or books - everything is automated, if I want it to be! Its Freeing up a LOT of time for me! HOORAY!
Wady:
The software doesn't hold a clients credit card info so I have to ask for it again before or just after the trip which means i have to trust the client to pay the balance after the trip - or find a way to get online and pay just before the trip (difficult when people are already on vacation and may not find it easy to access wifi / internet to pay the balance. A bit nerve racking for me! Also, it would be great to have a number to call someone for assistance when needed - I have had to wait a few hours sometimes for a response - thought someone does ALWAYS respond before long.

Zalety:
Better than manual bookings, can see reports for sales, but I don’t have many positive things to say.
Wady:
Everything. Many cannot book online and call us directly (or just bail completely) The app is always in delay and not accurate and has limited functionality. Speaking to someone is impossible. The receipts and payment page is not clear and cluttered. They always say...sorry it was a bug when something didn’t work. Nightmare!!

great tool to drive online tour sales
Zalety:
as an online sales tool, trekksoft is great and easy to use. Their easy shop-templates are good looking and easily fit into any website
Wady:
at the time we used it n our company, we expected more depth in the back end - assigning guides, drivers, cars, boats - basically arranging excursions and managing assets proved to be not flexible enough for our needs.

We want to have the possibility for our customers to do booking at TrekkSoft 2-3 years ahead of the expeditions. Today it's not possible, why?
