It provides clear time reports that help me to determine areas where i need to do better to achieve healthy work time management. The experience with Clockify has been a very productive one and i will keep choosing it over the other tools.

Clockify has a very great auto-tracker tool that allows me to automatically track my time usage making the process very simple, efficient and less time taking. Clockify is very easy to use and i like how intuitive the user interface is and how neatly the dashboard is organized. It also has a very exceptional reporting tool that help generate detailed time usage reports. More to just time tracking, Clockify has some team scheduling tools that help me and my team to plan and schedule for our work shifts.

Wady:

I have not had any unpleasing moments with Clockify. I have genuinely loved everything about it so no cons to report.

Fine enough but not excited about this solution.

Komentarze: They were great with the setup. We provided some functional requests and those seemed to evaporate in the void. I'm probably going to look for another solution unless our "quality of life" requests are implemented.

Lack of integration with Google Workspace calendar and email notification deny-view-approve feature. I must log into the portal to see when my team is out. I should be able to see this in a team calendar through our Google calendar instead. The email notifications only have an approve button. What if I want to look at the request or deny the request? One-click on that notification email approves it. I should have a choice. This would be a simple update and the Clockify support folks ignored our feature request.

Easy and useful program

Komentarze: From the first day I've been using Clockify, it's been very easy and I've adapted quickly. It is convenient that you can fill in at any time, even for past and present tense. I haven't come across a simpler and more customizable program than Clockify.

My time management savior clockify

Komentarze: It has given me a better idea of how I spend my time, what activities waste my time, and how I can improve my overall productivity. Tracking my work hours by project has significantly increased my productivity and accountability.

Zalety:

Clockify is now my must-have time tracker. I enjoy the simplicity of one-click timers (to start and stop), the project-and-task-level time organization, and detailed reports with insights into my productivity. And that it is completely free for unlimited users, what a game changer.

Wady:

While It is great for simple time tracking, it does not include some of the more advanced features you would find in other time management tools, like invoicing and project budgeting.

Must-have if you want to be productive

This greatly helped with my productivity and managing multiple work tasks. It's very user-friendly and doesn't need a complicated setup.

Highly benefitical (Plugin)

Komentarze: Super helpful with identifying where time was spent throughout the month on projects and tasks. It helped identify if we would be about to go over budget ro if we would spend too much time on a project where not enough time was allocated so losing money.

Zalety:

Helped to keep time and track my hours when working on budgetted design tasks.

I rarely used it on it own but more of a plug in with asana (not really a dislike)

The brilliant Clockify platform

Komentarze: With Clockify, I used it with my work as an Executive Assistant for CEO's of companies, so it was important to track the time that I work, and create notes to label the tasks completed. Some clients wanted to know how long it took me to complete a task, so clockify has been beneficial in allowing me let them know. In addition, I send weekly End of the Week reports, and even End of the Month reports at the end of each month, so clockify has been great in that I can customize reports for each client and let them know what I have accomplished for them.

Zalety:

What I love about Clockify is the ease of tracking time, and how you can see the full active details of how long you've been working down to the second. Other platforms I've used that worked similarly to Clockify like Harvest, do not have that feature. I also love that for each project, you can choose different colors. This really helped me when tracking time for individual clients.

Wady:

There were some glitches in the time clock, and an inaccurate time was recorded. But other than that, I have not had substantial issues with Clockify.

A time-saving dream that my clients love!

Komentarze: Clockify has been very useful and a huge time saver! I am an independent contractor working with multiple clients on multiple projects. Clockify makes it easy for me to track my time and tag what I'm working on. My clients appreciate the detailed reports I send them and I can also send them a link so they have access in realtime to see what I'm working on and how much time it's taking me. It's easy to switch between clocking in or making a manual entry. All of this is set up easily and can be used on the computer or through the Clockify app on my phone. This app saves me so much time and I love that it is free!

Zalety:

Many things! But the most... probably the tagging features to be able to assign jobs and clients and easily pull out reports to track the different tags.

Wady:

I really can't think of anything but if I had to say something, I'd like some more color tag options.

The journey to organize the time of my projects with Clockify

At first, it seems like a lot of things are happening, however, you quickly realize that every button makes sense. Getting familiar with the tool is a breeze.

Clockify is GREAT for Small Businesses!

Komentarze: Overall, Clockify has filled a large need within our company. The initial set up is easy. Adding new clients, projects, and team members is a breezy. Clockify has streamlined not only our tracking and client invoicing, but also team and independent contractor payments.

Zalety:

I have been using Clockify for my business for about 2 years now. The interface is user friendly and has great tracking and accounting abilities meant for businesses. While we tried other platforms before finally landing on Clockify none of them met our needs the way Clockify does.

Wady:

While I wouldn't consider it a con, I would like to be able to insert a button for payment into the invoices and/or have the ability to connect our Clockify through our payment processor.

Easy time/project tracking for 1 person or many!

Komentarze: Overall, it's very user friendly and quite comprehensive. There are a lot more features than I'm able to use in my little office. It's very handy for what I need, but I can also see the benefit for much larger operations and complex teams.

Ease of tracking my time on various projects. I wear a lot of hats, so it's nice to see how much time I'm actually spending on each project.

Wady:

I don't like having to assign a task to a project before the timer will start. A couple of times I entered a task without a project and didn't realize the timer wasn't tracking my time until I went to transition to a different task. Luckily, it's easy to go back a set a start time (if I remember approximately what the start time was.

Super Easy Time Tracking!

Komentarze: Overall, a great site to use for time. I can easily see my overall time for the week/month and the site is very easy to use.

This site is super easy to use and understand. I can easily change times when I accidentally go over, for example, or change the time zone when I'm required to.

Wady:

I'd like an option for more themes. Maybe more dark themes that change the colors a bit. Just to give it more variety.

The only timekeeper you'll ever need!

Komentarze: I am resistant to time tracking, and this app/program makes my life SO much easier! I can colour-code entries to keep different types of files straight; I can enter data ahead of time, in the moment, or retrospectively; my team uses the app together because we share files;

Zalety:

- the app works great on my Android phone and on my computer - it's user-friendly, easy to understand at a glance, and there are multiple ways you can track time - it's really easy to add new clients and there is space to add as much/as little detail as you need - we've created different templates for the different types of clients we work with, and they are easy to edit when changes are needed - entries can be billable and non-billable - I can add basic details first and edit details later (I often make entries on the fly) - we work on files over long time periods, so the different reporting functions are very valuable when we submit hours for billing - you get a reminder if you leave a timer running - the support folks are efficient and very helpful *the app really only keeps getter better over time!

I don't actually have any complaints about the app.

I have a lot of clients to keep track of, and it is super simple to open the tool and hit "start" when I begin working on a project.

Ease of use and straight forward interface. Very easy to add information and edit entered fields. Many different kinds of reports for various needs.

Sometimes the "time-out" function does not automatically stop my time if I am inactive, even if the setting is set up. Often get logged out of the desktop tool and have to re login thru the web site.

Simple time-tracking and invoicing, huge time-saver

Komentarze: As a freelancer, Clockify has overall made my life much easier. Invoicing used to be a big chore; Clockify made it simple to pull the hours together from a project and send them to a client. While there are a few features that would make it easier, such as being able to add individual items to an invoice as a flat fee rather than an hourly rate, overall the platform is extremely easy to use and perfect for the fairly straightforward time-tracking and invoicing I use it for. Just using it to add up the hours tracked on a project is a HUGE time savings and well worth the small price I pay for a monthly subscription.

I am a freelancer paying for the lowest personal tier of Clockify. The time tracking and invoicing features are why I subscribe to the platform; they're very simple and easy to use and save me a significant number of hours when billing clients. The time tracker is really easy to set up, and it will remind you if you're logging a lot of hours on the same project and probably just forgot to turn your timer off. I can easily sync between using the mobile and browser apps. There is plenty of detail in customizing the time tracking details, such as adding clients, projects, hourly rates, and individual tasks within projects. This also means you can get helpful reports that break down your weekly or daily hours into graphs which can be filtered. The invoicing feature is the main reason that I pay for Clockify, and it's invaluable. Pulling all the hours from a certain client's project over a specific time range is very easy. I also appreciate that I can customize how the hours are summarized on the invoice, whether by date, project, or description. The app will automatically avoid double-billing and if you have already invoiced for hours on a particular day, those hours will not show up on the next invoice, even if you make a mistake and select the same day to be part of the invoice. The invoicing feature, though simple, has probably saved me dozens of hours over the last two years, and it's well worth the minimal cost for the lowest-tier plan. And yes, the price is definitely worth noting as it's very reasonable for the functionality I receive and the number of hours I've saved. When I go through a period of cutting down on bills and subscriptions, Clockify never gets cut.

Wady:

There are definitely a few features from the higher-tier plans that it would be nice to have on the basic one. There are few tools for planning out a job and budgeting, and the invoice form is not very customizable. There's no way to add an item to an invoice as a lump sum rather than as an hourly cost, so if I am charging a fixed price of $600 for a project I have to fill in the "rate" box with "$600" and add "1" to the hours box. But this isn't that hard to deal with. The inability to edit an invoice after I have recorded a payment has also caused me some trouble. I also find that clients have a hard time finding invoices when Clockify sends them via the mail client, but this is fairly easily fixed by downloading the invoice and manually sending it to the client. Overall there are some details that make working with Clockify harder, but none of them are a deal-breaker for me. They might be for people working on more complex projects or larger organizations, but the higher tiers of the plan might offset that with other tools.

Time Well Spent with Clockify

Clockify is extremely intuitive and makes it quick and easy for employees to track time. As an employee who also uses the reporting function, it has been a dream come true. Reports are can be as basic or detailed as I needed them to be and are quick to generate.

Wady:

There was a recent update that changed the way the date and times display that makes it so you no longer see what day of week it is when you are entering time. For example, before it would show "Monday, October 7th" it now only shows. "October 7th". This makes it difficult for employees who add their time at the end of the week and has caused some issues with having to correct the dates.

Essential Tool - try it for a week if you don't believe.

Komentarze: After using it for about 5-6 years, I see Clockify as an essential tool for myself and anyone who cares to ask my opinion. I have introduced it to many of my friends and colleagues (across disciplines) as a great way of recording and analysing their own time. It's quick, easy (online) and quiet (a background tool - that doesn't get in the way of working/doing the task.).

Zalety:

It's ability to acurately track my daily activity across multiple jobs. I'm an architect working in a small team with many projects and as such, I need to jump between tasks to address things as they come in. The reporting and ability to accurately bill clients is our biggest reason for using Clockify.

Wady:

I have been unable to get on with the mobile and desktop apps. My main interface is through the web tracker. The interface on mobile is clunky and as we require projects to be assigned (to log time) it can cause bad habits when on mobile.
