Sometimes it doesn’t pick up some degree of threats that are possibly causing problems on some devices based on my personal experience. While it's indeed a great solution no doubt but having to skip some intricate files and the threat that is pretty obvious they’re threats based on human intuition is just the only limitation have experienced with the solution.

I have had a antivirus problem. Meaning I didn't get the use for them. Yes, yes, I know, I know, computer protection, simple right? No! I just thought the whole thing was a waste of time and took too much space. Yeah, I paid for my lack of judgement and I grudgely accepted another antivirus (who shall not be named) but it was hilariously expensive and kept giving me count downs to it's free trial ending. Needless to say I was frustrated. Paying for antivirus was the last thing on my mind, until I was told about this software. At first I was skeptical. but I took a chance and I was pleasantly surprised. So let me break it down for you. Fast. The software wasted no time in getting to the heart of my computer. Trash, junk., bugs, downloads I didn't even know were abstracting stuff, it cleans it up. Its easy. Seamless, sleek, professional-looking options and menus. I was impressed on the scans I could do. and the different diagnostics I was given. Defence. I swear its kind of freaky, yet oddly satisfying to see your antivirus pop saying someone was blocked from accessing this or this site was bloYou guys realize now I have a computers space problem, so I was thankful that I didn't feel as if the software was taking over my computer with all the extensions and adds ons and all that stuff. It felt more as if it was apart of computer, silent in the background getting stuff done.

It's a bit expensive, but its also a good investment so I'm don't think that's so bad. I don't really don't have any problems with it, since there's also a free version that you can use until you can afford the pro version.

Avast scans my web pages and tells me if the sites am attempting to visit are safe, If I visit a malicious site unknowingly avast blocks me from accessing the site and requests me to go back to safety. from the time I started using Avast all my data and computer systems are free from malware. Avast automatically updates itself to a new version when available and the antivirus database updates frequently so I don't have to do anything once I install it everything else is left to the program itself. Avast also does password management for me which is another feature I love about avast.

Wady:

Avast does most things automatically sometimes installing even programs I don't need. The last time I found out that avast installed its own avast secure browser and made it a default browser, an action that I did not authorize neither did I want an extra browser.

The last thing that I don't liked about this software is that sometimes installation problems create without any problem.

Before Avast I was afraid to attach any flash drive to work computer. Because most viruses use flash drives. But now when there is a suspicios flash drive I attach it to my computer very confidently thanks to Avast. Because it immediately detects and prevents dangerous viruses and suspicious behaviours.

Sometimes Avast acts skeptical than normal and prevents me visiting some websites and installing some apps. Maybe such apps are not dangerous but some part of their algorithm seem suspicious and can steal information. Therefore avast prevents me installing such kind of apps.

Avast antivirus is a basic tool for protecting our systems from malwares , but also have some issues of speed. It runs in background of our systems so it slowdown our system for other tasks. Sometime it detects viruses and refuse to remove them from our devices and cause errors . When we are on deep scan it takes approximately up to an hour to complete , so it needs more updates for working faster and reliable than other tools. A little bit expensive for purchasing license subscription.

It protect me from viruses and malicious website content, as it will scanned the website first before it us loaded on my web browser.

There are too many bloatware software that are coming with the installation of this software. I just need a simple anti-virus software that protect my computer, and it will be nice if they informing user before they loaded my computer with the add-on software. It has making my computer really slow.

Komentarze: As I stated above, I appreciate the additional features that allow me to securely access and delete PHI from my computer. I have always been pleased with Avast's antivirus capabilities as well.

The features that Avast offers in the Pro Plus product allows me to work more securely from multiple locations. Whereas the antivirus software has always been top notch, the VPN technology has allowed me to work remotely over connections that previously would have not been secure. As someone who works in healthcare, working over an insecure internet connection would have risked PHI and is not an option for me. I also like the shredder feature for deleted files. Knowing that any PHI I may have locally can be deleted securely brings great comfort.

Wady:

Being able to turn on and off the VPN is not easily accomplished, at least I have not found an easy way to do it. Having a toggle feature on the dashboard would be helpful.

As a profession, security is the highest concern for me. And there are plenty of Antivirus softwares available in the market and among these avast is the pretty good software in terms of service and ease of use. Avast did not slow down the PC like other antivirus softwares and did not consume a larger part of RAM. The scanning time is acceptable and always maintain security at the highest level.

Wady:

The pricing of the PRO version is a little bit high. The pop-ups from avast annoying for many times. Need some improvements in virus database and sometimes VPN service did not work properly.

Avast is not good with phishing attacks. Although it is perfect as a antivirus software, vulnerable to phishing attacks. So always you need to be extra cautious of phishing attacks when you are browsing.

Komentarze: I have used other antivirus, some of them very famous and trusted, and I have never been able to find one with which I feel comfortable (until avast). You usually have constant pop-ups with warnings about simple tasks, which causes me fatigue and it takes me to uninstall the product. Avast is the only antivirus that for days does not emit a single annoying message, and for me, this is one of the most important factors. I´ll never change the antivirus again.

Comfortable dashboard. 2) It has no annoying warnings, notifications are always justified (for example, when you first run an application that is unknown to the antivirus). 3) Amazing extras, such as a virtual private network. This helped me a lot because the ISP that I use at home has some ports restricted. 4) Good performance and integration with your PC and mobile.
