Zalety:

The background checks are very quick and we know the status when it's really completed.

Wady:

I really don't have any issues while using the product. Only one issue I had is the references that I provided , the email was not sent to the reference for the first time.

Komentarze: The customer services has been excellent and the platform is easy to use and navigate.

Zalety:

Easily accessed on your mobile - can take employers seconds to complete a reference. Helpful and customizable notifications, easy to keep a track of pending checks.

Wady:

Zinc do not use the Work Number to verify employment, which means that it is not globally inclusive and works better for some countries than it does for others. We spend a lot of time at Snyk finding work arounds, directly with the employee. The employment verifications section need some work as is hard to set the criteria you want, as new joiners/employees can find ways around this. We wanted to set our references to either 3 past employers, or employment verification(s) that covered the last 7 years - whichever was met first. However this isn't possible, it can only be either or. Also if employees provide two references, for the same employer, this counts towards the 3 different employer references needed, and this is not right.

It is easy to use, good design, background check and identity very good.

Wady:

Background academy, when uploading the diploma does not read the dates well, this is a problem since the months of the diplomas in Spain do not appear.

Wady:

Nothing bad to say, really. There's a free trial if you're unsure.

Really easy process and instructions which mean its difficult for you to go wrong.

Wady:

The absolute need for confirmation of my degree undertaken >10yrs ago in an unrelated field. But I suppose that was the employer and not Zinc specifically.

Zalety:

It was very easy to use and the customer service was great when I had a problem.

Wady:

Not much tbh. It was quite easy. Was a bit annoying when I made and error and I didn't find out till then end and the only way to solve it was to input all my address data again.

Zalety:

The usage of the features are to the point and even the customer support is helpful.

Wady:

I didn't see any cons with this. It is really helpful.

Zalety:

Providing notifications whenever the referrals I selected complete their work

Wady:

Error handling. There was an issue when I was adding my referrals. 1 of them was added successfully but I wish I was able to view the details I've added just to reassure that I didn't make any mistakes or the issue I encountered didn't mess it up.

Zinc is a neat tool

Zalety:

Intergrations with home office to directly get a reference confirmation

Wady:

It sent me notifications every few days which made it feel like an urgent task 🚨 the problem isn’t with the notification itself but the urgent messaging

Zalety:

It is great to see that Zinc keeps transparency between employees and references

Wady:

Its time consuming. The background verification process can be much faster. However, it is doing great though.

Komentarze: As I have said above, I had a very short but positive experience with your website, very quick and easy, with very quick and supportive customer service.

Zalety:

It was very fast and easy to go through, and even though I got stuck with sharing my work code, customer service its been efficient and very supportive on the matter.

Wady:

I haven't got anything negative to say. I've inly used these couple of days for my new job and it's been a positive experience.

Great replacement for a lacklustre rival background-checker with immediate QoL improvements.

Not yet encountered noteworthy issues. Perhaps the option to view/hide detailed information on cases, rather than option minimise/maximise entire review section?

Zinc could provide more information about what document would they need exactly i.e driving license, id card, etc and which one would be the most preferred and easy to process

Easy to do, even if you have checks that you don't usually require, such as regulatory roles, you can just create a package online and they invoice you for what you need. Their customer support is quick, easy and sort out any issues you have straight away. Strongly recommend.

Zalety:

We previously did our references and DBS checks in house. Adding Zinc into to our ATS for automation has been a game changer. As a small team, it has saved us so much time!

Wady:

The only one tiny thing is to put in a template email for referencing for regulatory roles, and explain why you need to ask the extra questions. Might also be good to have template questions from FCA forms
