Revolutionary for rental and activities business model
Komentarze: Superb support and reaction time for problems. I have never experienced such a great attitude towards users from support people.
Zalety:
Flexibility, ease of use, integrated payment options, broad scope that can be used to make all our activities, rental products, tickets, etc. products available for online booking
Wady:
Rentle is still under development so there are many things missing but all the essentials are there to make the business roll. Rentle is developing new features in a rapid phase so the features missing now, might be there tomorrow.

Komentarze: It's a great platform that makes renting items easy to do for businesses. I would love to have credit card on file added, and to be able to negotiate rates.

Cost per transaction could be lower. I would rather pay a flat rate, vs paying a % per order. I would ideally like to have the ordering processing fees to be sub 4% for stripe and rentle combined, and will explore alternate payment options to see if there is a way we can get there. Paying close to $600 per 10k in sales is too much.

Unfortunately, we cannot lower our commission fees, as only a part of it goes towards our development and maintenance, while the rest goes to the payment processor. As your business is scaling up, it might be beneficial to switch to another plan — the difference in transaction rates oftentimes covers the price increase — for example BUILD would bring your commissions to a sub-4% level (+$0.30 per transaction). Helped us get started, but not a long term solution
Komentarze: Fast to get started. Great to be able to get basic functionality online in less than a day. Support has been good. But ultimately lack or pricing flexibility, payment provider limitations and costs. and inventory management limitations make this a short term solution for us.
Zalety:
Fast to set up and use. Low learning curve. Works well for what it is.
Wady:
Extremely limited pricing capabilities. Can't set different prices for different times of year or day.of week. This has cost us thousands in lost revenue. Can't take a boat out of service for scheduled time (routine maintenance). Boat is either in service or out of service and Can't for example take it out of inventory for Tue and Wed without blocking it for the entire future. Have to resort to work arounds like fake bookings. Rentle adds an additional surcharge on top of Stripe fees, which are already high. Can't select my own payment processor. Reporting is extremely limited.

Saves a fortune on web developer fees!!
Komentarze: We now have a really smart looking online booking system, which is really easy to change and edit, and has lead to a lot of our customers booking online who might have otherwise booked with a competitor.
Zalety:
We found it really easy and straightforward to set up and customize. We had toyed with the idea of getting a web design company to build a booking system for our website, but decided it wouldn't be worth the cost. We then found Rentle which seems to be custom made for the hire industry, and found it very straight forward. Setting up the listings for each product takes a minute or two, and other customisation features are also very straight forward.
Wady:
They are currently working on putting in more customisation features like background colour, which is something we would be very interested as we would like to make our store more like our website in terms of colour themes. We were also disappointed with not having telephone support, but as they are in a different time zone to a lot of their customers, I can see why its impractical. They do answer the messages and emails within an hour or two though, and can generally give you a full answer without the need for a load of back and forth.

Local Lego Set Hire goes nationwide

The support has been invaluable. Setting everything up as a novice is not easy adding 67 sets and some in multiples. There are lots of settings needed, and support helped me to find the right methods of offering my services.Now my business has started, I will be contacting support again to ask for tips and tricks to make the most out of this system.
Wady:
The hire store does not have a search bar, so poeple can't simply search for their preferred Lego Hire set, they have to scroll through all.

Very modern and easy to use
Zalety:
Everything works as it should! The interface is very easy to use, totally intuitive for customers. It was very fast to get our catalog up and running.
Wady:
A couple of missing features are the ability to add custom fields to items, and charging for add-ons or rental extensions through Stripe.

Almost where it needs to be
Komentarze: It meets what I need it to do, while far from perfect such as not being able to update a order, such as switching a item requested by the buyer or the weight limits need to be increased to meet the size of my customers.
Zalety:
Rentle is cool, pretty easy to learn how to implement the backend to set up your shop.
Wady:
Rentle needs to update their customer service hours to meet the demand of users in the states. I understand they are no US based, but it places a business owner in a bad spot when customers are demanding answers right away.

Online booking available for small businesses as well, now it's easy.
Komentarze: I use Rentle as an online service for my small canoe rental business. I've been considering implementing an online booking system for years. However, all the programs I've tried have been too complicated and required coding.
Zalety:
The implementation of online booking was really easy and logical. A special mention goes to enabling online payments; it has never been this easy.
Wady:
Perhaps there could be various "How to" videos available. Understanding things from a video is easier than from written text, especially when it comes to different language versions.

Rental software on a budget. Good value for the options you get.

Easy of use and the price point was low enough to test the waters with the program.
Wady:
The website builder seems really basic. You are not paying much for Rentle, but would be nice to build out a nicer website and not be so restricted.

Komentarze: Overall, I’ve found it easy to use but lacks a few abilities, like site customization.
Zalety:
The ease of use is outstanding. I can add products in just a few clicks. Adding details is effortless and not overly burdensome or tedious. The features that are included in the free version are sufficient to get you started. For businesses that are below a certain threshold in monthly sales can see their monthly fee cut to to help business owners out that much more.
Wady:
While there are many features that will help you getting your business up and going, there is no customization options when it comes to the look and feel of your online store. I have yet to find any. It’s all black text on a white background.

Good platform in development
Zalety:
Easy to use, for the staff and the costumers. Great service from Rental's employee.
Wady:
To book a duration without being able to book in an other way. We organise a big Christmas market in november-december, dans I would have like to be able to do package deals. I'm also sad deposid are not possible in Canada, but I know it's coming in 2023.

Komentarze: I have not had much experience, I have been trying to configure and understand the program for 2 months. I find it quite practical and easy compared to the previous program (booqable). Especially the question of changing data in the reservations and configuration of the products.
Zalety:
is very convenient for making reservations the setup is quite practical and easy to understand. The staff is always there when I need them and they are practical and efficient.

Great Rental Software!
Zalety:
I've demo's a lot of rental software companies and used a few of them. Each one had glaring holes in inventory management or were not user friendly on the backend, the customer booking portal or both. In addition, they were usually way too expensive for for being incomplete rental software. Rentle is easy to setup and easy use on the backend and online reservation portal is really user friendly. Clean look that fits with our website's aesthetic. Track inventory, check out, check in, make edits to reservations and tracking bookings is all straight forward and easy to use! Stoked to have found Rentle.
Wady:
As soon as online payments in the US are up and running this will be the complete package for us!

Simple interface, easy to understand and outstanding customer service.
Komentarze: We are a small business. We operate at a physical shop and via Instagram. We realized we can improve our sales if we bring our rental platform online, and Rentle provides us just that. It allows us to operate online and send deliveries via post. Customers no longer need to visit our physical store to rent items.
Zalety:
First of all, I appreciate that Rentle provides a platform for small businesses to try the market and grow. Its free trial contains functional features that allow small businesses to operate the system properly. To us, we appreciate this function and will opt for the paid services once we reach a threshold of growth that enables us to invest more on the system. Its customer services is outstanding. Even when we are not paying customers (on free trial) we received incredible support from the team. This allows us to understand the system better and use all features for our business. The interface is convenient for customers. It is easy to set up and easy for us to understand.
Wady:
There are some features that can be improved. The system is created with sports equipments in mind, so most features are targeted towards that. For example, the customer information that can be collected from customers is limited to those related to sports. It can be better if the questions are more general or perhaps, some forms can be left blanks to allow administrators to ask their own questions.
