Komentarze: BIM information management and the skills sharing and new 3D models creation through ARCHICAD tools is excellent and the workflow management is simple.

Zalety:

The CAD capability that its offered by ARCHICAD is excellent since its easy providing effective Engineering 3D models and import other 3D designs across different modeling platforms.2D drafting for Architectural presentation production and effective simulation and the ability to render final 3D images is incredible.

Wady:

Valuable Architectural product and easy to get a long especially when your familiar with other CAD systems and easy customization.

Fantastic drafting and BIM software

Komentarze: I really enjoy using Archicad and exploring the options available. I am constantly finding new ways to use the program

Archicad is very easy to use, has every feature I can think of, and is just as easy to design in 3D as it is in 2D (usually at the same time)

Wady:

The biggest con is that most engineering firms use Revit, so the collaborative element with outside firms is limited.

Worst optimization ever experienced

Its a bim program and thats about it i think.

Wady:

The only reason we use archicad is simply that it is slightly better than revit. The problem with the program is that instead of cleaning up the extreme amount of mess they simply add useless new features constantly... which piles ontop of a thousand other useless things, making it less and less intuitive with every release. The absolute biggest problem though is simply how insanely badly optimized the program is. It simply doesnt matter how strong a computer you have... you will sit and wait for that blue circle spinning round and round for ages....

ARCHICAD is the most mature and stable BIM solution available

Very flexible for designers. We can produce the same deliverables in multiple ways depending on how we need to work.

Great coordination Program

Komentarze: The business problem ArchiCad solve was time management. Having multiple people working on the same file simultaneously allows for fluidity in the modeling and design process.

Zalety:

The biggest pro for this program would have to be how advanced it is with team coordination

Some of its features take more time in advance to set up before using efficiently

Powerful piece of software that could rival Revit if Graphisoft could shift their approach

Sometimes I like that archicad is less rigid than Revit. It's easy to create what you want and to get it to look the way it should. Rendering is a breeze. Some of the tools are beyond intuitive. They function exactly the way they should.

Wady:

This is BIM light. You will be piecing together your model using slabs to represent everything under the sun. You will fudge things with solid element operations that will keep you up at night. Archicad will force you to be inaccurate unless you fight it to your last breath. You'll curse Archicad's lack of ortho snaps. The inability to create "blocks" is utterly ridiculous and maddening. There are 20 ways to access every objects setting and it will confuse you to no end for the first year. Instead of fixing problems and consolidating settings, Graphisoft has decided that their mantra is "addition." If something doesn't work right, just add features so that no one notices what they're missing. Instead of giving users what they need, modify the GUI and give them a bunch of useless crap to try to get them to buy the newest version. This is sloppy software development at its finest. It's sad because if they spent a few years cleaning up the beast that they've created, it could be a match for Revit. As is, it's a severely bloated Sketchup pretending to be a BIM package.

Best 3D Architecture Software

Archicard is an excellent civil engineering design software. Its 2D and 3D structure makes it exceptional. More than 2 available print formats is really amazing what we can do with this software. His object bank is what fascinates me the most.

What I like least about Archicad is its ability, this software weighs a lot and automatically makes use a little slow when you don't have a machine with good capacity. The manufacturer should review this issue in order to facilitate use by all

Great software for small and big projects

Zalety:

Easy to build the models and generate the presentation and construction drawings.

Take a while to get used to the software from AutoCAD.

Great software for anydesign orientated architectural practice

Komentarze: We recently made the switch from another CAD software to ArchCad and our overall experience is very positive. Great support from the ArchiCad team too.

Zalety:

Easy switch between 2d and 3d information. Good render function. Great for teamwork. Easy to get qauntities.

Wady:

Cost are high. There should be a plugin for price calculation of design based on location and complexity. No plugin yet for Enscape for Mac users

architecture tool

Zalety:

this software is very good thanks to its rendering, and with it you don't have to draw the internal elements of a house yourself.

Wady:

I find that the dashboard of the new versions of this software can disturb those who are not used to the previous versions.

Archicad: the software for architectural modeling and design.

Komentarze: Autocad is the software you need to assist you with your professional designs. It offers a wide range of options and essential features for architects and engineers.

Zalety:

The key feature that I like is the ability to create a complete digital model of a building, including all architectural elements such as walls, doors, windows, and roofs.

Wady:

What I like the least is the simultaneous work on a project, in other words, collaboration. I have encountered several bugs when using it.

Best architectural plan design software

Komentarze: I have made many architectural plans with this software, I recommend it to all architects

ArchiCAD helped me a lot for the design of architectural plans and also in 2D modeling, it is a very good software, I highly recommend it

As a disadvantage I could say that the license is a bit expensive

Komentarze: I like this software alot, I have used it since version 9 and I expect to keep using it.

Zalety:

Its a pretty easy to use software for making 3D models of our buildinga, and extracting 2D views of sections of the model to make constructyion documents. The 3D views one can generate within the software is very handy, and is sufficient for 90% of what i'd like to achive with a single software package.

Wady:

Surface rendering and choices of how to render the model could be improved alot. The Model View Options and Graphic Over-ride tools could be alot easier to understand and employ.

Ease of use, workflows that increase our productivity and a bias to design in a 3D work environment that simultaneously produces visualization tools, like BIMx viewer, that allows our team and our clients to better understand the design at much earlier stages. We also love how Archicad is set up to favor front loading our labor with the benefit of reducing the total labor and time to final delivery.

Wady:

Archicad pushes the envelope that modern hardware can handle. We wish the program and the cloud based services were speedier. We also had problems with excessive crashes in AC 21, 23, and 24.

Komentarze: I had to learn the program through work, at a flat and 3D level, it was designed jointly, it was a unique experience.

Zalety:

The program is very complete, there is a lot to learn to use it and exploit it to the maximum, designing in real time makes the work more complete and more difficult but very useful.

Wady:

I used the program for plans and 3d beyond, I no longer used it, it was not easy for me to learn.

ArchiCAD is the new AEC era

Komentarze: BEst way to understand BIM methodology, because is possible to create a architectural project since the feasibility study to the executive project without using any other software.

Zalety:

Easy to use. Icons, simplicity, organization of the project browser and 3D modeling.

Wady:

The capacity of family creation with fluidity that could be some more like rhinoceros or similar.

Archicad a good way to create architecture

Komentarze: In general this is a very good software, that i have used it for about 1 year, it took me about 2 months to learn it and i currently use it every day, however as it is not a widely used software, i had to learn revit to some jobs.

Zalety:

Archicad is a software in which you can solve an entire project, from views to render, it has a intuitive and friendly interface that is easier to learn than similar softwares like Revit. Archicad has a tool called BIMcloud which is very good because it allows you to work in a team with people anywhere in the world in real time, regardless of the size of the project or the internet connection, all this available in a public or private cloud on the internet.

Wady:

It is a BIM software so it is difficult to learn compared to programs like sketch up, autocad or Rhinoceros, but you can take courses that help you to learn, in addition some tools like photo rendering is a bit sketchy and you can't get high-quality images. Another important thing is that not many people use this software in the world, so you would have greater opportunities if you learn Revit.

The best software for modeling

Top Tier Architecture Software

Komentarze: I have been using Archicad since the CAD 18 VERSION and I have been able to grow with it. I commend the new version with higher project/heavier project handling. I use it end to end with Lumion and the sync is amazing. The introduced components are also a plus.

Zalety:

Archicad is easy to use even with beginners. The layout is simple and direct to the point. It's layer organisation is also useful when it comes to project execution.

Wady:

It's not a rendering software. More of a drafting/BIM software.

The Software for all 3D Archirect

Zalety:

what I like most about Archicad, especially version 25 that I had the chance to test, is the ease of use. but above all of handling as well. the streamlined user interface greatly facilitates the workflow. I recommend Archicad to anyone who would like to get into 3D architecture or to anyone looking for powerful, reliable software for their work.

Wady:

If this opinion that I give reaches the technical team, here is what I think would make Archicad the best 3D Architectural design tool: Rendering! If Archicad really improves its rendering engine (Cine Render) so as to raise it to the level of rendering engines like V-Ray, Rhino or others would be a crushing blow to the competition!

High end Designer Software

I have used this software for my design needs for the last one year and the value I have gotten from it it insurmountable! The software offers a nice practical 2D and 3D experience when doing the models. It also offers numerous tools which when combined, one is able to bring out an excellent image just like a pro. With proficiency with the software, one is able to maneuver so fast and with so much ease that the software actually reduces the time required for a drawing by more than 70%. It was easy for me to learn the operations as they all are practical and well organized on the screen.

Wady:

Some starters may find it challenging to work with the numerous tools the software offers. It also requires some advanced skills and knowledge about designs.

2D drawings are made in a short period of time and dimensions tool work fast. Lamp tool has many features one can choose from

Colours for roofing are very limited and there are no flowers on the object tool. Rendering tool doesn't make your model look like in real life. it takes a long time to learn how to use all tools properly

The way of getting familiar with the work ambient is so easy, the palletes and menus are very easy to configure, and once you get familiar with it, the worflow is almost intuitive, being this a highlight because it increases the productivity on many levels. Another thing that is so beneficial is the project management and organization features availables on this software. It allows me to do changes, revisions and modify many things with few clicks. I can extend on this review explaining on so many levels how this software has helped me to increase my productivity, even with my social networks, because it has helped me increase the amount of likes on my instagram profile given the quality of the renders produced on this application, but the reading could get so extense that I prefer to resume it on few words: you all should definitely try this software, and you'll see how amazing it is.

How to begin this review? This software is so delightful! Actually, this software is my first option on BIM world. The render engine quality is amazing and very likely and customizable. This is an AMAZING OPTION, an AMAZING PRODUCT, the best choose. In its features, this software it's an adventure, the more you enter the menus and options, the more you get enchanted. One of the best things on it, it's the fluency on the model management and the views, the control on every level of the model, the customizability on the menus. Frankly, this is a great option.

Wady:

The dislike about this software? Actually i have minimum dislikes, the only thing I'd recommend to the developers of ArchiCAD would be that the document generator could be more friendly, like other drawing CAD applications, that would make more easier the process of finishing the tasks. Oh, and another thing that I don't find very likeable is that the IOS verson of the bimx is more practical than the pc one.

An excellent attempt in the field of design

The software provides an interface that gives an ease of use to practicing architects as well as architecture students. The features are to the point and can be altered and used as various other elements apart from their original use, for the purposes of design communication. The best feature of Archicad is the ability to edit the structure in 3D at a very acceptable and adequate speed making visualization very simple.

Wady:

The downside is the layout processing part as well as documentation. It requires a high end RAM space and quite a lot of time to update the drawings as on the working tab. The changes will appear late and it is hectic at times.
