Zalety:

MasterControl MES has provided my company with a great resource to make our entire process more lean. The savings we have had as a company just from moving away from paper records is worthwhile enough, but the modular nature and no-code simplicity of the interface has allowed us simplify all of our records in a way that was easy to implement. Also, the interface with our quality system was seamless and API integrations are something we are looking forward to putting in place. MasterControl is also constantly improving their software to provide more and more functionality to its end users and the customer service experience has been excellent

Wady:

Integrating with regulatory, validation of templates, and some small lags are the main issues or services that we have not taken advantage of yet.

MasterControl Review

Zalety:

The infocard feature that allows you to check previous history, status, revisions, upload attachments, and adding links to documents.

Wady:

Constantly logs out of my account, frequently doesn't save or capture changes in collaboration workspace, frequently doesn't allow or there is an error when opening documents in collaboration, lag time to search for documents, occasionally will have to click "discard" or "replace" the infocard when revising documents in the collaboration workspace, and searching for document # and sometimes doesn't show up unless you click "expand search" to find the document.

MasterControl - Digitize Your World

Zalety:

Issuing batch records is extremely simple. Lot number control ensures numbers aren't skipped and the ability to filter records between various products is extremely useful. Mx Builder is user friendly and intuitive to use. Regex expressions allow you to define user inputs, decreasing entry errors.

Wady:

Reporting and data analysis is a bit challenging. Insights is an improvement from Jreports, however, there is still quite a learning curve before the module becomes useful. More training and improvements to the speed/functionality of Insights would greatly improve the product.

Zalety:

I liked organization of documents the most.

Wady:

I like the least is the lack of connectivity between records.

Best MasterControl Product

Zalety:

It is extremely easy to both create master templates and complete production records.

Wady:

Taking time to get improvements that I find valuable.

One stop shop

Zalety:

Mx has been very user friendly for all aspects and parties involved. Implementation was very hands on and user friendly. Both our builders and operators were able to learn quickly

Wady:

Still a newer product so some limitations

Master Control review

Zalety:

a lot of features continuous improvement Production record section - easy to build a new record.

Wady:

Enhanced search - not being able to open a title in a new tap, unable to expand a section to make it readable. After a certain period of time you are kicked out of the program

Document Control

Zalety:

Document Control traceability is very good.

Wady:

Customization and ability to speak to other systems.

Helps our Client Relations team Immensely

Zalety:

Helps the client relations team reduce paperwork and easy to locate their documents in the system.

Wady:

I would say Guest Connect for outside users to sign documents in the system from Adobe to MasterControl.

MasterControl is Easy to Use!

Komentarze: Overall I believe MasterControl is a 9 out of 10, I have seen and used worse eQMS. Yes there are some problems but I overall really like the product.

Zalety:

I love the form builder and the JR Reports/Insights. More of the form builder so we can build our our quality and system access forms.

Wady:

Even though I love the form builder, the template is really hard to use and there is so much limit to what can be added to the forms. And with a longer eForm being made and continuously updating, the JR Report for it keeps breaking.

MX is a Wondeful Tool

Komentarze: I very much enjoy MX. Mx holds our production team to a new level of quality and excellence.

Manufacturing Excellence Review

Komentarze: MasterControl has been a great help with implementation of MX. The initial sessions with the SMEs were very beneficial in helping us to gain a thorough understanding of the tool which allowed us to effectively use the tool once our initial implementation phase was finished. They are also excellent at listening to the input that we have given about added functionality and are continually improving the product.

Zalety:

It provides a digital format for documenting production activities. This allows for a reduction in human errors specifically in documentation, as well as the ability to easily collect and analyze data about the manufacturing process.

Wady:

The largest friction point that we have with MX is a lack of customizability. Our process is very complex and we have found ourselves having to make multi-step workarounds in order to replicate our process.

Komentarze: The overall experience is great!. This system has helped improve documentation control and information retrieval.

Zalety:

Having all things in one place and easily accessible is incredible helpful.

Wady:

In places where there were issue, they are being addressed. Sometimes the nomenclature used is confusing if a person does not have an IT background.

Ease of use. Customization of all facets of the product. Support on all of the system.

User training can be a challenge. Working with departments that do not want to progress.

Learning about how to use it for me would be easier with more videos available to demonstrate how to use it.

Robustness. The robustness and complexity help the manufacturing process run smoother.

Wady:

Not intuitive and user-friendly. The system is complex and require substantial training in order to be able to use it effectively and efficiently.

MX Review

Komentarze: Overall I feel using MX has been a substantial improvement on how we product documentation in my department.

Zalety:

I like the adaptability of the system, it's undergoing additional functionality additions which are a big help.

Wady:

I miss a change all shortcut feature in the builder environment.

How much it is still in development. There are lots of stuff coming but it isnt a complete solution yet
