First steps into new business made easier with GloFox

I like the waiting list feature and how easy it looks to make it both branded to my company and tailored to exactly what me and my clients need. I’m looking forward to starting the build process to see how it goes. The experience so far has been all good Fromm y perspective.

Zalety:

Ease of Communication, with regular follow ups from sales team. Very friendly and helpful, giving lots of experienced based tips to help me get started. Seems to be simple system to operate, which is important for me as I’m not very technical with IT. I liked that we could discuss everything about the product and there wasn’t any pressure to go with GloFox. It just simply was the best value product for what I need. The app looks great, and I think going for the Gold option from the outset was the best idea, as it means my clients can be used to using the app right from the start, rather than just using web services initially and then having to change.

Wady:

Nothing really, only thing I have noted is no compatibility with Spivi - which won’t be an issue but just something I’ll need to sort separately. I can’t see too many downsides at the moment, everything so far from first contact to agreeing to partner has been flawless.

Komentarze: The initial onboarding was a bit chaotic due to my personal reasons and the personal reasons of my assigned onboarding manager. Now that I have finally gotten a hold of Customer success managers [sensitive content hidden], I have been able to have very productive meetings and correct a lot of inefficiencies and incorrect setups that were not correct during the onboarding process.

Zalety:

[sensitive content hidden] have been super helpful with correcting some of my initial onboarding errors or inefficiencies!

Wady:

Some of the support team. is not equipped to handle most of the features.

Would not recommend - poor customer support and too expensive.

Komentarze: Customer support has been poor at best. I've been trying to cancel my subscription as a gym and studio owner, and it took a month before I received a confirmation about cancelling my membership. Despite multiple emails, calls, and submitted tickets. Since then, I've ben trying to get my data migrated to a new system and am once again begin ghosted. I do not recommend ABC Glofox.

Zalety:

Not much. ABC Glofox has very little I would say is a pro.

Wady:

1. Reporting is not robust enough and when I've asked for my own data, I'm met with roadblocks. 2. Glofox doesn't allow for gift cards. 3. Price increases that do not correlate with improved functionality or support. 4. Bulky marketing suite. 5. Lead-Client functionality does not capture our business model well enough and I can't adjust it. 6. Cancellation process has been arduous.

Great Support - Easy Interface - Great Product!

Komentarze: Overall experience: I am very happy. The user interface is very easy to use, which is important when on-boarding new staff.
Account managers are keen on feedback on improvements, with Glofox constantly releasing new system/feature updates, which shows that our feedback has not gone unheard.

Zalety:

Had a great on-boarding experience feeling supported throughout the entire process.[sensitive content hidden], my account manager, was helpful, insightful and provided great tips on how to use the system and get the most out of it. His patience and customer service are greatly appreciated! A+++

Wady:

Certain feature/system limitations that are lacking which would make life easier. Hopefully they are in the development pipeline.

Where do I start? Everything…from the setup…to dealing with their employees and their schedules, the errors that it has regarding payments and modifying a class, the bad integration with websites, when you cancel they play like you didn’t follow their steps…seriously explore more options before you get into this mess of an app

Some of the after-hours customer service reps are subpar. There are a few features of the app (specifically around the Kisi integration) that need some improvements.

Biggest mistake for my start up

Komentarze: Biggest mistake I’ve made for my start up was getting a Glofox subscription

Zalety:

Nothing, it was hard to use and the company were so unhelpful once the sales person was done with me and they had me on a yearly subscription

Wady:

That I spent so much money on a platform that was unnecessary for my business and the company still decided to upsell what I didn’t need. Do not sign an annual contract you will regret it. Research all your options as there are platforms for £10 a month that do the same.

Can't really recall anything that I don't like, a couple things might be cool if they were added like bettering the discount code use, a couple more marketing tools, some social interaction within the app would be bonkers!!!

Horrible customer service

Komentarze: Awful! Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The people answering the phones are very nice, but they have no answers to any questions and the managers won’t call you back.

Zalety:

I don’t know. The customer service was so awful I never was able to experience their services.

Wady:

If you are ok with waiting 48 hours to fix any issues you have with your Glofox app, then you will be fine. I sent several emails trying to get a call back to receive help with an onboarding dilemma and could not get help from Glofox. You will get someone from customer service to answer, but no one that can actually help with an issue. If you end up needing to speak to a manager, you will never get a response. Way over priced for the service you getS.

Client Migration

Komentarze: Overall I have had a great experience so far. I migrated the client list from one system to another as I took over a branch from another business and re-branded. I was dreading the data migration as it was taking place before the Easter bank holiday weekend. But thanks to [sensitive content hidden] in the migration team, everything went more smoothly than I could have imagined. They did a great job and kept me fully informed throughout the process. Straight forward and easy to use. Integrates easily to your website.

Wady:

Online links for classes as I mentioned earlier.It would be more practical to have only add the link to the class once rather than for every instance. It would be useful to be able to select specific client to send emails to.

For us, the price of the platinum level subscription plus fully branded app was what got us over the line. It is more affordable than other software. It is also much more user friendly for us as a studio, and for our clients. The web integration is also great. Can definitely see why everyone is using glofox!

Wady:

Initially it was extremely hard to get in contact, and get a demo call. But once I received the right contact information, the process was very quick.

Low quality

Glofox is nice to look at, and simple enough for staff

Glofox's functionality and intuition is very low. The system cant even send out an email for a cancelled class's. The only option to notify clientele is if they 1. have the app downloaded & 2 have push notifications turned on...... This blows my mind. How can a booking system not send out a direct message to notify clientele. This is one example of many.

Komentarze: I haven't experienced any app outages or latency problems. Undoubtedly, Glofox has simplified a lot of processes.Once it is set up, I really don't need to do anything.It was wonderful.

Zalety:

The software is simple to navigate and utilize.I really appreciate how simple the backend setup was. The program's best feature by far is this one. Clients get very direct access to programs and events taking place inside the facility, and it is quite simple to use. Customer Services is always on hand to provide information.

Wady:

The software is fairly simple to use and browse, but it was a little difficult for me to set up the membership the way I desired. Otherwise, nothing challenging exists.
